Welcome to www.walterbenjamin2012.blogspot.com - a blog accompanying the unfolding of 'The Philosophy of Walter Benjamin', a one-day conference that will be held at Goldsmiths College, University of London on December 14th 2012. The conference will be hosted by InC - the Goldsmiths research group in continental philosophy. At the moment the event is still in the early stages of planning, but all pertinent details will be announced shortly.

A call for papers (see below) has been circulated and we are currently receiving/surveying submissions and devising a programme for what will hopefully be a memorable conference. The deadline for submitting abstracts is September 30th 2012. We encourage submissions from graduate students and established academics alike. We ask that potential speakers provide a 200 word abstract for a 30-minute paper, followed by a 10-15 minute discussion.
